Manual Configuration and Activation for GPRS
• Start these instructions from the idle screen of the handset
• Press `Menu`
• Scroll up to `Service` directory and press `Select` to enter the Service options menu
• Scroll down to `Settings` (4th option) in the Service option menu and press `Select`
• Press `Select` to change the active service settings
• Scroll to an unused slot (e.g. `Set 1`) and press `Activate`. A message `Service settings activated` will be displayed
• Scroll down to `Edit active service settings` and press `Select`
• Press `Select` again to change the settings’ name
• Delete the text `Set 1`. Enter ISAT-GPRS then press `OK`
• Scroll down to `Homepage` and press `Select`
• Enter http://wap.indosat.com/ for the homepage URL then press `OK`
• Scroll down to `Session mode` and press `Select`
• Highlight `Permanent` and press `Select`
• Scroll down to `Connection security` and press `Select`
• Highlight `Off` and press `Select`
• Scroll down to `Data bearer` and press `Select`
• Highlight `GPRS` and press `Select`
• Scroll down to `GPRS access point` and press `Select`
• Enter indosatgprs and press `OK`
• Scroll down to `IP address` and press `Select`
• Enter 10.19.19.19 and press `OK`
• Scroll down to `Authentication type` and press `Select`
• Highlight `Normal` and press `Select`
• Scroll down to `Login type` and press `Select`
• Highlight `Automatic` and press `Select`
• Scroll down to `User name` and press `Select`
• Enter indosat and press `OK`
• Scroll down to `Password` and press `Select`
• Enter indosat and press `OK`
• Press `Back`
• The handset is now configured for WAP over GPRS. Notice that under `Active service settings`, ISAT-GPRS is displayed. This tells you that the ISAT-GPRS settings are currently the default settings used
• Press `Back` twice followed by `Exit` to exit to the main screen of the handset
