Prerequisite
• If the D-Link Bluetooth USB Adapter CD-Rom is not available, download and unzip the latest D-Link Bluetooth drivers from www.dlink.com
• Please ensure you are logged onto the PC with an account that has administrative rights
• Please ensure all open applications are closed before proceeding
• Please ensure the GPRS service provider has enabled the SIM card for the GPRS service

Installing the Bluetooth device
• On the PC, run the `D-Link Software` following the on-screen prompts
• When the `Driver Signature Notice` window appears, click `OK`
• When the `Bluetooth device not found` window appears, insert the Bluetooth USB Adapter into an available USB port of the PC and click `OK`
• When the `InstallShield Wizard Completed` message appears, click `Finish`
• In the `D-Link Bluetooth Software Installer Information` window, click `Yes` to reboot the PC
• On the PC desktop, double click the `My Bluetooth Places` icon
• The `Initial Bluetooth Configuration Wizard` window will appear, click `Next`
• In the `Computer name` field enter a name for your PC, for example `MyDesktop`
• From the `Computer type` drop down menu, select the device type most suitable for your PC, for example `Desktop`
• Click `Next` three times
• Once Windows has finished installing the software, click `Skip`
• Click `Finish`

Pairing the devices
• On the handset, press the `central navigation button`
• Scroll to `Settings`, press the `central navigation button`
• Scroll to `Connectivity`, press the `central navigation button`,
• Scroll to `Bluetooth sett`, press the `central navigation button`
• If asked `Bluetooth not active. Activate Bluetooth?`, press `Yes`
• Scroll to `My BT info`, press the `central navigation button`
• In the `Device name` field, enter a name for the handset, for example `MyHandset` and press the `central navigation button`
• Scroll to `Visible to others`, press the `central navigation button`
• Scroll to `Always visible`, press the `central navigation button`
• Press `Back`
• Press the red hang-up button once to return to the main screen
• On the PC, double click the `My Bluetooth Places` icon on the desktop
• Double click `Find Bluetooth Devices`. The software will search for Bluetooth devices within range
• Right click the icon that displays the name of the handset and click `Pair Device`
• The `Bluetooth PIN Code Request` window will appear
• In the `Bluetooth PIN Code` field, enter a four-digit `Bluetooth Passkey` (for example 0000) and click `OK`
• On the handset, when prompted to `Re-enter the passcode`, enter the `Passkey` as specified in `step before this one` and press the `central navigation button`
• When prompted to `Add device to known device list`, press `Yes`
• On the PC, double click the icon bearing the name of the handset
• Double click `Dial-up Networking`
• When the `Connect BluetoothConnection` window appears, click `Cancel`
• Close the `My Bluetooth Places\Find Bluetooth Devices` window

Setting up the modem
• Click `Start`, `Settings` and then `Control Panel`
• Double click `Phone and Modem Options`
• If the `Location Information` window appears, enter `0` in the `What area code (or city code) are you in now?` field and click `OK`
• Click the `Modems` tab
• Highlight `Bluetooth Modem`, click `Properties`
• Click the `Advanced` tab
• In the `Extra initialization commands` field, enter AT + CGDCONT = 1 , "IP" , "indosatgprs" (without any space)
• Click `OK` twice
• Close the `Control Panel` window

Making the connection
• Double click the `My Bluetooth Places` icon
• Double click `Entire Bluetooth Neighborhood`
• Double click the icon that displays the name of the handset
• Double click `Dial-up Networking Gateway`
• The `Connect BluetoothConnection` window will appear
• In the `User name` field, enter indosat
• In the `Password` field, enter indosat
• In the `Dial` field, enter *99***1#
• Click `Dial`
• When prompted to make the phone number change permanent, click `Yes`

You will now be connected to the GPRS service
